Mathieu Flamini looks set to miss out on Euro 2008 after it was revealed that Patrick Vieira has made a recovery from injury - only 75 minutes before France kick off their Euro tournament.
It comes as a bitter blow for the AC Milan midfielder, who was hoping to continue his great form in the Premiership this year with Arsenal for France in the Euro championships.
France had waited as long as possible to see whether Vieira could make the tournament, and he has been included on the team sheet for the crucial opening Euro 2008 game.
