Injury worries for England

17 November 2008 - 09:24

Fabio Capello's England squad has some big name injuries who would not be able to take part in the clash against Germany.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • The current England Captain John Terry is doubtful for the fixture and so is his Chelsea team mates Ashley Cole and Joe Cole.

The 'Coles' are injured and ruled out though Terry might be back on time.

The other casualty is striker Emile Heskey. Joe Hart has been a late inclusion and he is doubtful after suffering an ankle injury in his last match against Hull City.

Capello has called up players from his U-21 team including Agbonlahor, Micah Richards and Curtis Davies.

Scott Carson, Ashley Young and in-form striker Darren Bent also makes the cut.
