Allardyce to Blackburn?

17 December 2008 - 14:01

Former Newcastle and Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is reportedly being lined up to replace axed Paul Ince as the coach of Blackburn Rovers.

  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • Allardyce had touted himself as the replacement to Roy Keane after the Irishman left Sunderland, but now Big Sam has emerged as the number one candidate for the vacant Rovers role.

It is understood that Blackburn are keen to find a suitable replacement for Ince before Saturday, and the Blackburn chairman, John Williams, is a big fan of Allardyce.
