Celtic midfielder, Scott Brown, was named as the Scottish PFA Player of the Year. Their manager Gordon Strachan won the Manager of the Year award for the second time.

  • Scott Brown helped Celtic win the Scottish Premier League and was an important part in winning the Co-operative Insurance Cup. He won the award beating his team-mate Gary Caldwell and Rangers duo Pedro Mendes and Steven Davis.



    Brown was signed by Celtic boss, Strachan, for £4.4m from Hibernian.



    Gordon Strachan beat last year's winner Billy Reid(Hamilton) and Derek McInnes(St. Johnstone).



    The young player of the year went to Hamilton's winger James McCarthy.
