Tottenham reject Modric request

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has rejected a transfer request from Luka Modric, who is actively seeking a move away from White Hart Lane to London rivals Chelsea.

However, it appears that Modric is going to lose out in his chase for a move away from Spurs.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp said: "We know Luka wants to leave, writing it down on a piece of paper doesn't make much difference to our stance."
