Arsenal boss hits out at fans

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hit out at Gunners fans for booing the fans during the draw with New York Red Bulls at the weekend. The Gunners drew 1-1 with the American side at the weekend, prompting Arsenal fans to jeer the side as they threw away victory.

"I can understand they want us to win but I don't think we need to put any extra pressure on us now.

"The most important thing is to prepare and to take the pressure on when results really matter," said Wenger.

The Gunners fans are growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of transfer activity this summer and the uncertainty regarding the futures of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas.
