Scott Parker joins Tottenham

Scott Parker has completed his long awaited move from West Ham to Tottenham. The England international midfielder signs a 3 year contract at White Hart Lane.

The 30 year old had handed in a transfer request only yesterday in an effort to push for a move away from Upton Park.

"I need to be playing in the Premier League, especially now that I am involved with England," Parker said. "I hope the fans will understand and respect my decision and I wish the club every success in their fight for promotion this season."
