Man City boss wants Balotelli to grow up

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has asked Mario Balotelli to grow up quickly if he is ever to fulfill his huge potential at the club. Only this week the Italian striker had been photographed with members of the Italian mafia.

During a midweek qualifier against the Faroe Islands, Balotelli was seen playing on his iPad during Italy's Euro 2012 qualifier.

It seems that Balotelli cannot keep himself out of the headlines.

Mancini said of the striker: "I think that Mario played well for Italy on Tuesday [against Slovenia], this is important, it is important that on Saturday he can play [against Wigan Athletic]. The other situation is not important."

Speaking of Balotelli's maturity, Mancini said: "Mario is 21 years old, he can change in two months, three months or six months.

"I think that you are right, the moment he changes his mind, he changes everything."
