Tottenham looking at Anelka

Tottenham Hotspurs have been linked with a January move for wantaway Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka.

Anelka has not signed a new contract, with his current deal expiring at the end of this season. Although he top scored for Chelsea last year, he may be sold if an offer comes in.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is keen on signing an experienced forward, after losing both Peter Crouch and Robbie Keane in the summer.

It is believed that a bid of £6 million will be enough to persuade Chelsea to sell.
