Warnock quiet on Defoe to QPR link

Neil Warnock's reported pursuit of Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe remains a mystery, after the Queens Park Rangers manager refused to answer questions about a big money move for the Spurs striker.

The 10m GBP rated forward has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers since last summer, and a move could be back on come January.


But the QPR manager remains quiet on talk of a a move, but did admit the club would be spending big in the transfer window.


Warnock quipped: “It's been mentioned in the newspapers, but it wouldn't be right for me to talk about other club's players.


“It's true to say there are names on that list. You have to knock some off at times as you realise they're beyond our means at this moment in time. It doesn't mean we can't look at people like that.”
