Fergie rules out Man Utd panic buying
Sir Alex Ferguson will not be rushed into a transfer during the January transfer window, despite injuries to Brazilian midfielder Anderson alongside England midfielder Tom Cleverley.
Today, Man Utd were linked with a fresh move for Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder, but Ferguson ruled out a transfer move in January.
Instead, Ferguson will use the players available to him in his squad currently, and looks forward to the return of Cleverley at the end of December.
"It's not easy to buy a player and buying the right player is even more difficult -- especially in January," he said.
"We don't have a scattergun approach to signing players and I don't see anyone among the players available who could make us a better team.
"I could choose two or three players who I would like to have at this club, but they are not available. There would be no point even going there."
