Coquelin ready to leave Arsenal on loan

Francis Coquelin feels flattered to have been linked with a move to Lille in the January transfer window. The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal, despite early season action for the first team, and now could move away from the Emirates.
Coquelin enjoyed a brief spell in the first team, playing crucial Premier League games against Tottenham and Manchester United. Unfortunately for the midfielder, two defeats in those two games saw the Gunners slump to the bottom end of the league table, and Arsenal purchased Mikel Arteta the following week.
The French midfielder hopes to move elsewhere, and a move to French champions Lille appeals: "I have not had direct contact with Lille, but it’s flattering.
"LOSC are a very big club.
"For now the transfer window is not open, but when there really is interest, we must wait and see what happens."
