Arsenal can extend Thierry Henry deal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits that he may be able to persuade New York Red Bulls and Thierry Henry to stay longer after his loan spell in London ends. Henry scored the winning goal in a 1-0 FA Cup win against Leeds yesterday, in his first game back for the Gunners since leaving five years ago.
Thierry Henry has been brought in as cover for Robin van Persie and also Gervinho and Marouane Chamakh, who both will spend time in Gabon for the African Cup of Nations.
“He has six-and-a-half weeks and we have not envisaged more. We can go to eight weeks but not longer," said Arsene Wenger.
