Hughes installed as QPR boss
Mark Hughes has completed a move to Queens Park Rangers today, signing a two and a half year deal. Hughes replaces Neil Warnock who had been fired last week, and the Welshman will take charge of QPR's game against Newcastle this weekend.
Tony Fernandes has reportedly bankrolled a massive 30m transfer kitty for the Welshman.
"I'm fully aware of the challenge in the short and long term and I am genuinely excited about the ambition of the owners," Hughes said.
"The immediate priority is to consolidate our place in the Premier League. The future is very bright."
