Theo Walcott to sign new Arsenal deal

Theo Walcott looks set to put pen to paper on a brand new contract at Arsenal, to end months of speculation regarding his Gunners future. The England international will sign a contract until 2017.

The speedy winger had been linked with a move to Manchester United, but appears to have snubbed a move North to sign a fresh deal at the Gunners.


Arsene Wenger's priority for the January transfer window appears not to be signing new players, but to keep his current crop at the club; and Walcott will earn a massive £95,000 per month to stay with Arsenal.


The England star will also reportedly earn a £3 million signing on bonus for staying.
