Everton admit Fellaini could quit club
Everton's chairman Bill Kenwright admits that Marouane Fellaini is one player that could be heading for the exit door this summer. The Belgian midfielder has a release clause in his contract that allows him to leave for a team offering Champions League football.
The attacking midfielder has been a revelation since joining the Toffees from Standard Liege, subsequently a number of top teams have shown some interest. Recently, Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with a transfer.
The chairman of Everton confirmed that Fellaini could leave as the team are powerless to keep him from leaving for a bigger team: "We all know the situation at Everton. We all know there’s a player who’s got an escape clause, but the others are not for sale."
