Newcastle could sign Bent from Aston Villa
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has sounded out Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert regarding the future of striker Darren Bent. The England international reportedly wants to move in order to secure more first team football.

Newcastle are preparing a £13 million offer to bring Bent to St James' Park in the summer, but only if they are able to offload Andy Carroll.
