Wanyama a target for Southampton and Cardiff
Celtic defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama is a target for ambitious Premier League duo Southampton and Cardiff City. The Kenyan international has impressed at current club Celtic, and is now eager to make the move south to England.
The versatile youngster has been praised by many pundits north of the border, who are impressed with the youngster's drive and influence during a game.
Southampton have reportedly tabled a bid of £7 million for the player, some way short of the £10 million valuation from Celtic. Meanwhile, Cardiff City had made their first enquiry for the player two weeks ago.
The 21-year-old had earlier been linked with a move with Aston Villa, but manager Paul Lambert didn't have the budget to complete a deal.
