Fulham monitoring Sebastian Coates situation

Fulham are ready to make a bid for Liverpool centre back Sebastian Coates. The Uruguayan international has struggled to make an impression at Anfield and could now be sold to another club.

The 22-year-old, who has spent two years at Liverpool, has been linked with moves to Genoa and Sampdoria in Serie A but would prefer to stay in England. Fulham manager Martin Jol wants to make a quick offer for the defender who is very highly rated in his homeland.


The Liverpool player has also failed to oust Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger from the first team.
