Raul Albiol To Napoli?

It is believed that Real Madrid’s Raul Albiol is close to sealing a move to Napoli. The player’s agent, Manolo Quilon, has admitted that the clubs have entered negotiations for his client and he is hopeful of a deal being struck in the next few days.

Raul is available for transfer this summer and has drawn the attention of several clubs including Valencia and Atletico Madrid.


Napoli are expected to pay around €12millions to Madrid for Albiol. He has been reportedly offered a four-year contract by the Serie A outfit.


The Azzurri have already completed the transfer of Jose Callejon from Real Madrid and the possibility of a move for Gonzalo Higuain can’t be totally ruled out. Napoli could seal the deal for both the Real Madrid players- Callejon and Albiol- for a reported €22millions.


It appears as if Napoli are acting swiftly to capitalize on the funds that would be generated by the departure of Edinson Cavani to PSG. The Italian club is reportedly interested in Higuain as a replacement for Cavani.
