Liverpool boss asks Arsenal to up their bid
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has asked Arsene Wenger to increase their offer for striker Luis Suarez if they want to bring him to the Emirates this summer.
For the first time, the club has conceded that they might be willing to let the Uruguayan leave if the Gunners increaser their offer.
Arsenal have had an offer for £35 million rejected a week back but the Londoners' improved bid of £40 million plus addons triggered a clause in the striker's contract which Liverpool maintain that it was not his buy out price.
It is believed that Liverpool are looking at an offer in the region of £50 million for their disgruntled striker further dashing Arsenal hopes of securing his services.
Real Madrid look favorites now to cough up the money after having agreed a transfer for their Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain to Napoli.
