Crystal Palace tracking Jeremy Bokila
Crystal Palace have been in contact with Belgian side Zulte Waregem regarding a move for Congo international striker Jeremy Bokila. The 24-year-old spent last year on loan at Petrolul Ploiesti in Romania and impressed.
Palace have been busy this summer in their search for a new striker, with Quincy Owusu-Abeyie currently on trial at Selhurst Park and Carlton Cole also linked with a move to Ian Holloway's side. However, it is understood Palace are in advanced discussions with Waregem regarding a move for Bokila.
The Egles have had an offer of 1 million Euros accepted for the burly forward, who Palace are hoping will fire them to success this season as Bokila has already been compared to Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke by some in Belgium.
The player will not need to apply for a work permit as he already holds a Belgian passport.
