Constructive talks overnight as Kalou heads for West Ham
Salomon Kalou, who is currently in London talking with representatives of West Ham, looks all set for a return to the Premier League after West Ham yesterday agreed a reported 3.7 million Euro fee with French club Lille for Kalou's permanent transfer.
The former Chelsea attacker joined Lille last summer and impressed in his maiden season in Ligue 1. However, Kalou is known to pine for a move to the Premier League at some stage and the 27-year-old is beleived to have already agreed personal terms with West Ham over a transfer move.
The player has a contract until 2016 with the French side but after the Hammers declared an interest in January of this year, Kalou has had a return to England on his mind since.
Lille signed Kalou as a replacement for Eden Hazard and the Ivorian scored 16 goals in 37 games for the Ligue 1 outfit.
