Fulham make bid for Aaron Cresswell

Ipswich Town left back Aaron Cresswell has been linked with a surprise £3.5 million move to Fulham. Cottagers' manager Martin Jol has been in contact with Cresswell's club and will make an offer sometime in the coming week.

Everton and Wigan were also believed to have made an enquiry for the 23-year-old former Tranmere Rovers starlet, but Fulham are now favourites to secure his signing.


Cresswell had an impressive campaign last year for Ipswich, playing 45 games and scoring 4 goals in the Championship.
