Southampton favourites to sign Pablo Osvaldo

Southampton are considered as favourites in the race to sign AS Roma forward Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, as per Sky Sports.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a switch away from the Serie A outfit since the start of the summer transfer window, with North London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur also believed to be monitoring the player's situation.


However, Sky Sports suggests that the Saints are in pole position to land the Italian International, who scored 16 goals for the Giallorossi. 

Atletico Madrid, Wolfsburg and Benfica have also been credited with interest in Pablo Osvaldo in recent weeks.
