Arsenal set to sign Yohan Cabaye ?

According to Sky Sports, the Gunners have made a bid for Newcastle United's star midfielder Yohan Cabaye.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is under pressure to spend his transfer kitty having come under immense pressure from the fans to sign star players, as they saw the Gunners slump to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.

The North London outfit are now claimed to have made an offer for the talented Frenchman, as they look to gain title winning credentials after several barren years without a trophy. 


The Magpies get their Premier League campaign off against Manchester City today at the Etihad Stadium.
