Jose Mourinho - Wasteful finishing cost us the game
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that his side's wasteful finishing was the main reason for their 1-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park.
Former Rangers forward Steven Naismith scored the only goal of the match as Roberto Martinez recorded him first Premier League win as Toffees boss.
The Blues had a number of chances to come back on level terms, especially in the first half, and Mourinho insisted that his side where the better team on the day.
Mourinho told Sky Sports : "Of course, of course.
"We played the best football. We had 21 shots and risked everything we could, and in that respect we didn't deserve to lose.
"But on the other side a team who has chances like that, some of them easy shots, and doesn't take them deserves to lose."
