Arsenal set to sign Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Matt Macey
Arsenal are poised to capture the signature of highly-rated goalkeeper Matt Macey from Bristol Rovers, as per Sky Sports.
The Pirates had confirmed last month that the club were in talks with Premier League clubs in Arsenal and Everton over a possible move for the talented goalkeeper.
The 18-year-old had an impressive trial with the Gunners in September, and this has tempted manager Arsene Wenger in offering Macey a switch to the Emirates.
With Bristol Rovers manager John Ward resigned to losing one of the club's youth talents, Wenger would consider the player as a future prospect for the Gunners.
Macey is expected to sign a three-year deal with the North London outfit.
