Arsenal and Liverpool eye move for Kostas Mitroglou
Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly set to battle it out for the signing of Olympiacos striker Kostas Mitroglou during the winter transfer window.
The 25-year-old Greek International who joined Olympiacos from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach in 2011, has been in excellent form this season having notched up 12 goals in just nine appearances in the Greek Super League.
The Daily Star reports that the Gunners manager is keen on adding a striker to complement Olivier Giroud at the top, whereas Brendan Rodgers wants to add a back-up to his spearheaded attack of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
Mitroglou is currently valued at £7m.
