West Ham United plot fresh Demba Ba bid
West Ham United are reportedly readying a fresh transfer offer for Chelsea striker Demba Ba during the winter transfer window.
The Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is keen on ending the club's struggle to find a goal, and is looking upon the Senegalese International to solve the issue. The club have failed to score in six of their 10 Premier League games this campaign, having seen their manager opt for a formation without a recognised centre-forward, following the long-term injury to summer signing Andy Caroll.
With Allardyce having only the likes of Mladen Petric and Carlton Cole in their ranks, he is keen on adding a top class striker in the New Year.
"We tried to get three top loan strikers who play in this country but we failed to get all three. They went elsewhere and played for another club and one stayed where he was." He said.
"We will have to try again depending how Carlton and Mladen go before the end of January."
