Josef Husbauer on Everton radar
Everton are monitoring the progress of Czech Republic international attacking midfielder Josef Husbauer. The highly rated 23-year-old currently plays for Sparta Prague back in his homeland and is currently seeking a transfer to a European league.
Both Lazio and Porto are amongst the teams hoping to sign the talented playmaker alongside Everton. The Toffees' manager Roberto Martinez has sent a scout to catch the player in action ahead of a possible move in the January transfer window.
Everton are still yet to spend the money received from Marouane Fellaini's departure, who joined Man Utd last summer. This season Martinez has played Leon Osman and Ross Barkley both in a central midfield role whilst Gerard Deulofeu has been often deployed as an attacking midfielder.
Husbauer will be monitored very closely over the coming month before Everton decide whether or not to make a firm offer for the player.
