Newcastle United considered favourites to sign Wilfried Zaha

Newcastle United are currently in pole position to acquire the services of Manchester United starlet Wilfried Zaha on a temporary basis in January.

The England International has struggled to earn a place in the first-team under new manager David Moyes, since his arrival from Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace during the summer.


According to the Independent, it is understood that the Magpies are likely to secure the services of the talented winger on a loan basis, in spite of interest from a number of Premier League clubs for the player.


Zaha has just featured in two games for the Red Devils this season.
