West Ham want Juventus defender

Juventus defender is wanted by Premier league side West Ham United on loan. The 27 year old has spent last two years away from the Bianconeri at Catania and Bologna.

The Hammers this season have been decimated by injuries this season with James Collins, Andy Reid and James Tomkins having all spent time on sidelines.


The full back has been surplus to requirements at the old lady and could be set for another move away.


Tuttosport report that German club Werder Bremen are looking to loan the one time capped Italian international with an option to buy at the end of the season if the loan is successful. West Ham are looking to hijack the move as Sam Allardyce looks to strengthen his defence.


The East London side yesterday lost the services of defender Guy Demel with suspected dislocated elbow and facial injuries and that could speed up the transfer.
