Swansea City plot move for Anthony Pilkington

Swansea City are understood to be preparing a move for Anthony Pilkington during the winter transfer window.

The Swans manager Michael Laudrup is keen on strengthening the club's midfield setup this month, and has been linked with the likes of Blackpool's Thomas Ince and Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha in recent weeks.


However, The Mirror reports that the Welsh outfit are prepared to secure the services Pilkington on a temporary basis for the rest of the season, with a view to a permanent transfer next summer.


Pilkington is expected to to re-join the Canaries in the training ground on Monday, having been out with a long-term injury.
