Man City make bid for Youri Tielemans

Manchester City have made a bid for highly rated 16-year-old Belgian Youri Tielemans. The Belgian under-21 international has been monitored by the English club for over a year and Pellegrini's side are now said to be readying an official bid for the Anderlecht starlet.

The 16-year-old has been a revelation in Belgium's Pro League this season, having already played a part in 15 games at the tender age of 15 and in the domestic cup competition, the midfielder has also grabbed his first goal for the club. Last year the starlet received his first call up to Belgium's under 21 side and continued to impress when playing alongside players much old than himself.

Man City have reportedly been told they will have to pay as much as £6 million to sign the youngster who is sure to be an important part of Belgium's national side for many years to come.
