Loic Remy rejects permanent Newcastle deal
Newcastle's on-loan striker Loic Remy has turned down the opportunity to move to St. James' Park on a permanent deal. The French international will make his decision in the summer.
The player is on a season long loan from Queens Park Rangers and has been in fine form since joining Alan Pardew's side. The club's owner, Mike Ashley, had wanted Remy to pen a permanent contract but now Newcastle will have to wait until the summer to see what happens.
Remy has reportedly attracted the interest of both Tottenham and Arsenal and both teams are said to be monitoring his situation closely.
Queens Park Rangers value the forward at approximately £10 million.
