Lewis Holtby joins Fulham on loan
Fulham have successfully secured the services of Tottenham midfielder Lewis Holtby on loan for the remainder of the season, as per his agent Markus Noack.
Holtby, who joined the North London outfit from Schalke 04 in January last year, failed to make a defining impact in the first-team under new manager Tim Sherwood, and has thereby been allowed to make a short-term move to the Cottagers in order to play regular first-team football to earn a berth in the German national squad for the World Cup finals in Brazil during the summer.
Fulham are understood to have paid a loan fee of £1m to sign the German international, who will take the number 10 shirt at the West London club.
