Arsenal plot surprise loan move for Miroslav Klose

Arsenal are reportedly considering making a move for Lazio star striker Miroslav Klose before the 11pm transfer deadline.

The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is keen on signing a top-class striker before the close of the transfer window, as the pursuit of Schalke's 04 Julian Draxler came to a standstill following the club's negligence to match his £37m buy-out clause.

The Express reports that Arsenal eager to sign the talented German international on a temporary basis in order to provide sufficient cover to first choice striker Olivier Giroud.

Klose has scored 5 goals in 16 appearances for the Capital club this season.
