Liverpool chasing Ashley Cole

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will make a shock move for Chelsea defender Ashley Cole at the end of the season.The left back will be out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of this season and is seemingly ready to leave for one of the Blues' bitter rivals on a free transfer.

Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho confirmed only yesterday that Ashley could be allowed to leave for pastures new. Liverpool will make a move for Cole when the player's contract expires in June.
