Man Utd plot summer swoop for Mario Mandzukic

Manchester United manager David Moyes is reportedly plotting a summer offer for Bayern Munich's Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic, according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims that Moyes is keen on adding top-class recruits in the attacking department in the summer, with the the likes of Robin Van Persie and Javier Hernandez rumoured to be heading for an exit at the end of the season.



Mandzukic has had a great season with the Bavarian outfit and could be an ideal option to partner star striker Wayne Rooney, who is expected to sign to sign a new contract extension in the near future.



Manchester United are currently 7th in the Premier League standings, 11 points adrift of fourth placed Liverpool.
