Liverpool plot summer swoop for Lyon striker

Liverpool are reportedly readying a summer transfer offer worth £10m for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to The Metro.

The report claims that the 22-year-old is considered a top transfer target for the Reds manager Brendan Rodgers, who is keen on strengthen the club's attacking options as they would probably play in the Champions League next season.

Lacazette is believed to have also attracted interested from the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham and the Reds are likely to face a bidding war for the player's services at the end of the current campaign.

The talented French international has notched up 18 goals in 38 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit this season.
