Borussia Dortmund plot summer swoop for Lewis Holtby

Borussia Dortmund are understood to be keen on signing out-of-favour Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Lewis Holtby n the summer.

The 23-year-old had failed to live up to the expectations at Spurs since his move from Schalke 04 in 2013, and was subsequently loaned out to Fulham for the rest of the season during the winter transfer window.

 

Latest reports reveal that Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is open to the sale of the German international, should the right offer come by.

 

This could be good news for Holtby as Dortmund are believed to be interested in his services and will make a transfer offer, should they lose either Marco Reus or Ilkay Gundogan in the summer.
