Arsenal starlet attracting Newcastle interest

Arsenal's on-loan striker Joel Campbell is apparently attracting interest from Newcastle United, as per the Daily Star.

The talented Costa Rican international has yet to feature for the Gunners, due to some problems while issuing him a work permit in the last few seasons.

 

The Daily Star claims that the Magpies manager Alan Pardew is eyeing a move for the talented striker this summer, with the futures of Papiss Cisse and Shola Ameobi in doubt beyond the current campaign.

 

In addition to that, the Gunners could offer the 21-year-old on a swap-deal for French international Loic Remy, who is keen on playing for a top European club next season.
