Liverpool to move for Luis Muriel?

Liverpool are understood to be interested in signing up Udinese striker Luis Muriel, according to Tutto Mercato.

The report claims that the Red boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on strengthening the squad in the summer ahead of a return to Champions League during the next campaign.

 

With the Reds dependent on the 'SAS' partnership of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge for much of the current campaign, Rodgers is believed to be interested in securing the services of Muriel, in order to have a squad rotation given the busy football schedule next season.

 

Muriel, valued at £17m, is contracted to Udinese until the summer of 2018.
