Everton eye summer move for James Milner
Everton are believed to be readying a summer bid for Manchester City midfielder James Milner, according to The Mirror.
The Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen on finding a replacement for on-loan midfielder Gareth Barry, who is unlikely to sign a permanent deal at the Merseyside club.
Milner has been forced to play as a substitute for majority of City's league campaign, with the likes of David Silva, Samir Nasri and Jesus Navas often preferred ahead of him in the pecking order.
The Mirror claims that Martinez is eager to sign the former Aston Villa star, due to versatility to play in both defensive and attacking roles in the midfield department.
Milner has scored two goals in 30 games for the Citizens this season.
