Arsenal plot move for Valencia defender

Arsenal are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Adil Rami in the upcoming transfer window, according to The Daily Express.

The talented French international joined AC Milan in January on loan following a fall out with the Serie A outfit, and it is reported that he is considering a switch away from the club this summer.

 

AC Milan were considered front-runners to secure the 28-year-old's services, but they are now reluctant to meet the £5.5m asking price for the Frenchman

 

The Daily Express claims that the Gunners have joined the race for the talented centre-back, with manager Arsene Wenger keen on having an efficient back-up to the central defensive pairing of Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny for the next campaign.
