Hull City preparing bid for Adam Johnson

Hull City are readying a bid for Sunderland's star winger Adam Johnson. The England international is the subject of interest from several Premier League sides, according to reports on Saturday morning.

Daily Mail writes that Steve Bruce will pay £5 million to sign the 26-year-old from Sunderland. The former Man City winger is said to be very unhappy that he missed out on a place in England's World Cup squad and is now ready to quit the Black Cats and move elsewhere to boost his international prospects.

Johnson has also caught the eye of Swansea City and newly promoted Leicester City.
