Arsenal want Liverpool's Pepe Reina
Arsenal are believed to be lining up a summer offer for Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina, according to a report.
The Spain international spent last season on loan at Napoli, and was understood to be keen on extending his stay in the Serie A.
However, The Express claims that the 31-year-old failed to seal a permanent switch to the Naples outfit, and this has alerted long-term admirers Arsenal, who are now keen on signing up a genuine top-class shot-stopper in the summer transfer window.
The report adds that Reina could be offered adequate opportunities to play for the first-team, with manager Arsene Wenger keen on testing Wojciech Szczesny's potential to hold onto his position during the next campaign.
Reina joined Liverpool from Villareal in the summer of 2005.
