Chelsea interested in Sami Khedira

Chelsea are reportedly interested in landing the signature of Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira this summer, according to The Star.

Manager Jose Mourinho signed Khedira during his time with Real Madrid, and the Star claims that the Mourinho is now keen on a reunion with the talented German enforcer.

The Blues have been boosted by the arrival of Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona, and the addition of Khedira could spur them to the Premier League title next season.

However, the West London outfit could face a bidding war with Arsenal, who are also believed to be tracking the midfielder's performances.

Khedira looks poised to feature for Germany against Portugal in Group G on Monday.
