West Brom to wrap up move for Lescott
West Brom are on the verge of wrapping up a move for defender Joleon Lescott. The centre back will sign a two year contract.
The former Man City defender's contract at the Etihad Stadium had expired on June 1, leaving the centre back looking for a new club. The defender had apparently favored a move to Turkey but decided against a move abroad after evaluating his options.
The defender becomes Alan Irvine's first signing since being appointed the Baggies' new manager.
